PUNYAM AHAM
A Film by Raj Nair

Punyam Aham is the rhythm and colour of limpid souls, those belonging to men, women and their communities.

Set in the very heart of the small South Indian State of Kerala, self-proclaimed "God's Own Country", with the realm of globalisation as a backdrop.

A film about people with dreams, living within those dreams. A search which may not necessarily hold the answer to questions of minds akin.

The crossroads in ones' sacred pilgrimage for the simple truths, the sins, an unexpected end of a new beginning.

VIEWER COMMENTS...
"Really Tough Movie... I never thought Prithviraj & Samvritha would have done such a splendid performance. The Legends-Nedumudi and KPAC Laitha once again proved to the world that they are an inevitable part of Malayalam film industry... A Standing Ovation to all the cast, crew, and Mr.Raj Nair for a wonderful movie..." — Sivas, April '12

"Your work 'Punaya Aham' is simply an art beyond description. I happened to see this movie by accident. The way you have made this story really intrigues me. You have captured the nuances and the complexities of, might I say, issues faced by all the 'classes' in Kerala. Casting Prithviraj, Lalitha Madam, Nedumudi Venu sir & Gopakumar Sir in this movie might have been really tough. They have given full justice to their characters. Please continue to show us more such stories through your creativity... Hats off to you and God bless!" — MM, April '11
